Minimum evidence
Collect five facts.
Exact model code + chipset/platform + firmware or security state + required connection mode + requested operation.
“Samsung A series supported?” or “Can it unlock an iPhone?” is too broad. One commercial name may cover regional variants, different chipsets and different security revisions. A precise request helps support check the correct route and reduces false assumptions.
By device family
Use the identifiers that distinguish real variants.
| Device family | Record before asking | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung | Full SM model code, BIT/binary, Android/security information and requested operation | Retail names can include multiple regional models and security revisions. |
| MediaTek devices | Exact model, chipset if known, device state and required preloader/BROM/USB mode | Platform and connection state can change the available workflow. |
| Qualcomm devices | Exact model, chipset/platform, firmware state, EDL/ADB/Fastboot availability and operation | Port detection alone does not prove loader or operation support. |
| Apple devices | Exact device generation/model, chip family, current state and intended operation | Chip and device state can matter more than the marketing name. |
| Other Android brands | Full model code, region, chipset, Android/security state and connection mode | Similar names may hide different boards, platforms or restrictions. |
Requested result
Name the operation precisely.
“Unlock” can refer to different tasks: bootloader work, screen-lock service, account-lock removal, network status, flashing, repair or another supported function. These are not interchangeable. State the exact goal and current device condition without claiming ownership or authorization that has not been confirmed.
Only work on devices you own or are authorized to service. Some operations can erase data or change the device state; back up permitted data and understand the workflow before starting.
Source order
Check current information in this order.
- Search the local model reference for the exact model code and operation tags.
- Confirm the current model or function state inside the latest UnlockTool software or developer resources.
- When any field is uncertain, prepare a pre-order support check with the collected evidence.
- Do not treat an old video, screenshot or reseller post as final proof for the current build.
Not a guarantee
These signals are useful—but incomplete.
- A device appears in a list: the requested operation or current security revision may still differ.
- Windows detects a USB port: this confirms a connection layer, not full operation support.
- A similar model worked: regional code, chipset or software state may be different.
- A video shows the process: the video may use another build, revision or device state.
- The account is active: licence status does not guarantee compatibility for every device.
Ready to ask
Build the check before paying.
Remove unrelated personal information from screenshots. Include only the device and workflow evidence needed for review, then state the exact operation you want to confirm.
