Exact model code + chipset/platform + firmware or security state + connection mode + the operation you need.
“Is the Samsung A series supported?” is too broad. One commercial name can cover regional variants, different chipsets and different security revisions. A precise request lets support check the right route.
What to note for each device family

Name the operation precisely
“Unlock” can mean different things: bootloader work, screen-lock service, account-lock removal, network status, flashing, repair or another function. They are not interchangeable — state the exact goal and the device’s current condition.
Only work on devices you own or are authorized to service. Some operations erase data or change the device state; back up permitted data and understand the workflow first.
Check in this order
- Search the supported-model list for the exact model code and operation.
- Confirm the model and function in the latest UnlockTool software or the developer model directory.
- If anything is uncertain, ask support before ordering, with the details above.
- Do not treat an old video, screenshot or forum post as proof for the current build.
Useful signals — but not a guarantee
- The device is in a list: the operation or current security revision may still differ.
- Windows detects a USB port: that confirms a connection, not full operation support.
- A similar model worked: the regional code, chipset or software state may differ.
- A video shows the process: it may use another build, revision or device state.
- The account is active: a licence does not guarantee every device.
