Short answer
Match the period to predictable use.
Choose 3 months for a short test or temporary workload, 6 months for regular but cautious use, and 12 months when the account supports ongoing workshop work. Confirm new activation or renewal separately.
The lowest total commitment is not automatically the best operational choice. Repeatedly stopping, checking expiry and renewing can interrupt work; paying for a long period without predictable use can waste access time. Base the choice on the work you can reasonably expect, not on an unverified feature claim.
Comparison
What each listed period is designed to solve.
| Period | Best fit | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| 3 months / 90 days | First-time evaluation, seasonal demand, a defined short project or a workshop that does not yet know its UnlockTool volume. | Lower time commitment, but earlier renewal planning and more chance of access ending during a later job. |
| 6 months / 180 days | Regular use with a medium planning horizon; useful when demand is established but a full-year commitment is not yet justified. | Balances continuity and commitment, but still requires a mid-year expiry check. |
| 12 months / 360 days | Ongoing professional use where the account is expected to remain part of the workshop process. | Longest listed continuity, but the buyer commits for the longest period and must still verify current device support. |
Important boundary
Licence length and device compatibility are different.
A longer licence does not automatically unlock more functions. Device support can depend on the exact model code, chipset, boot or security state, firmware, connection mode and the requested operation. These conditions may also change with tool updates.
Before ordering for one specific job, use the supported-model reference and prepare a detailed check. Treat the current application or developer information as the final operational source.
Decision questions
Ask these before choosing.
- How often will the account be used? Estimate from recent paid work, not from hoped-for future orders.
- Would an expiry interrupt ongoing jobs? If continuity matters, allow time for renewal before the current period ends.
- Is this account new or previously activated? That determines the service type, not the duration.
- Are you buying for one exact device? Verify the device and operation before choosing any period.
- Can you keep the registered username controlled? The activation belongs to the submitted account; copying the wrong username can delay review.
Before checkout
Complete the five-point check.
- The UnlockTool username exists and can sign in.
- The account history clearly indicates new activation or renewal.
- The selected period matches expected use and expiry planning.
- The target device and operation have been checked separately.
- The username is copied exactly; no password or one-time code is included.
